NJ Man Could Get Up to 146 Years In Prison For Sexually Assaulting PA Girl: DA

A New Jersey man is facing up to 146 years in jail after being convicted for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old Lehigh County girl, according to a Friday, Nov. 15 news release.

Spartak A. Fedorovich, 38, of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, was found guilty of all charges relating to the sexual assault, according to the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office. 

Charges against Fedorovich stem from an investigation by Upper Saucon Township police who were dispatched to a home for a report of suspicious activity on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022 , according to the district attorney's news release.

Officers found that a 13-year-old girl had been meeting with Fedorovich in secret and that they'd been in a sexual relationship since she was age 12, the news release states. Fedorovich was 36 years old at the time.

Further investigation revealed that Fedorovich traveled between his home in New Jersey to Upper Saucon Township to sexually assault the girl on at least 10 occasions, according to the district attorney's office.

The jury in the case returned the verdict on Thursday, Nov. 14, the news release states. Fedorovich’s bail was revoked by the judge, and his sentence could range from 10 to 146 years in prison.

Fedorovich was found guilty of:

  • Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse (two counts).
  • Statutory Sexual Assault (three counts).
  • Unlawful Contact with a Minor involving Sexual Offenses.
  • Aggravated Indecent Assault.
  • Corruption of Minors.
  • Endangering the Welfare of Children.
  • Indecent Assault of a Person Under the Age of 16.

Sentencing is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 12, according to court documents.
